Best Place to Take Photos in Orange County, California! (Perfect for Instagram!)
This past Sunday @bluelillypad and I ventured to the most Instagrammable location in Orange County, California, the Sherman Library & Gardens in Corona Del Mar, Newport Beach, California!

The Sherman Library & Gardens boasts a fabulous café, gift shop, thousands of interesting plant species, hidden gnomes, bedazzling art installations, and best of all, fresh scenery that evokes any emotion that fits you best. Your aesthetic and personality will shine in this gorgeous outdoor space. Instagram feed on point.

Capturing photos that feel fresh and exciting in the middle of a pandemic often feels impossible. Many of us have relied on virtual backgrounds or fantastical editing to play with the surreal in order to feel well, alive. @bluelillypad and I were able to tap into our creative juices thanks to the Sherman Library & Gardens. If you’re in the Southern California area be sure to make the trip to gorgeous Corona Del Mar for the best place to take photos for your Instagram, or just to have an open space to meditate.
From posing with Athenian statues in a bed of greenery like Venus in the half shell or taking the centre court a lá @bluelillypad in a tropical kingdom on a red throne! There is a vibe that will help strike inspiration for you.
Visiting hours are from 10:30 - 4 p.m. daily, holidays excluded. The price of admission is $5 and they have free parking lots at two designated areas around the establishment. Be sure to check-in for a map outlining parking as well as the present attractions. You can also pay for tickets and view their interactive map in advance on their website.

Both @bluelillypad and I were impressed with how serene and tranquil the gardens are. There were many moments where we wandered off and just stared at all of the wonderful arrangements. The freedom to roam about and assess where we wanted to take photos and what mood we wanted to exude through our ensembles and the diverse environments felt like pure freedom especially during this extended lockdown that we all find ourselves in.
Their café is divine, @bluelillypad and I are both pescatarian and primarily plant-based. We both enjoyed the salmon crepe. It was scrumptious and the portion size was perfect for a light meal. We even enjoyed the company of a friendly cat who loved lazying about.

I personally loved all of the cacti and varieties of palm trees! Nature is the ultimate life source so when one can fuse the contrast of fashion/personal style and the delicacy of nature, fabulosity truly happens. Especially when you’re @bluelillypad in a pair of fishnets and @victoriawaang in a cropped sweater!
