Still REALLY Digging Harvard Bass

This mid week music muse is brought to you by decade nostalgia! Can you really believe that we are starting a brand new decade? What were your favourite moments of the last ten years? How about music? I have really enjoyed the Spotify Wrapped widget that Spotify has offered to their users; it’s so entertaining and when you share the experience with friends and loved ones it’s very telling! Do you use Spotify? Have you seen your music analytics yet? Share them here!

I first heard of Harvard Bass about six years ago with his track “Erasers,” this is back when I used to dabble with DJing and music production. Listen to a mix I co-created with the mucho talented Johnny Posh (more on him in another post) HERE. I fondly remember a solid year or so where I was always listening to, or sampling one Harvard Bass track or another. His effortless fusion of techno, house, and electronica is pretty impressive. It’s been interesting to see where his career has taken him over the years; he’s even mixed with the likes of Pete Tong, Claude Vonstroke, and Tiga (veterans of the dance music scene). If you’re looking for some phat house beats to bump in your ride while bidding adieu to the 2010s then peep out Harvard Bass.

If you’re into electronic music, I’m certain that you won’t be disappointed! His latest mix live from Ciudad Juarez, Mexico is pretty lit to say the least!

What did you think of Harvard Bass? Do you like this genre of music? Why or why not?
