Makeup Artist and Empowerment QUEEN @xoxoEshelle Shares Her Beauty Secrets With You!
Erin Michelle, or Eshelle as she is affectionately (and professionally) known, is a rare exception in this world. She is someone who can make the world smile and, in turn, ignite the inner flame in us all. Her supernatural ability to spark confidence in any person sitting in her beauty chair is indicative of her creativity and irresistible energy. I had the pleasure of working alongside her at an event celebrating local design house 4theegirl. It was the first day that we had met, but her presence and how she left everyone feeling better about themselves has been unforgettable.
It’s not every day that anyone meets someone like Eshelle. It is my delight and (really) a genuine thrill to introduce you to @xoxoeshelle!

Tell us about yourself and your latest endeavours!
“Hi there! My name is Erin Moore and I am the founder of Xoxo Eshelle,
a small business dedicated to providing resources and services to help build a woman’s confidence! I’m married to my sweetheart, David Moore, and we have two beautiful kiddos, our 3 year old son, Lincoln Dane, and our 3-week old daughter, Quinn Harper. I’ve been a makeup artist with a focus on bridal makeup coming up on ten years and have dedicated 3 of those years to educating women on makeup and skincare!”
What are you grateful for at this moment?
@xoxoeshelle: “Currently grateful for my growing family as we just welcomed our little girl! Adjusting to becoming a family of 4 has been quite an adventure, and I’m grateful that my husband and I have been entrusted with raising these two world changers!”
You’re launching your premier online beauty course! What inspired you to create this course? What are your goals with your project?
@xoxoeshelle: “Creating my “Makeup Made Easy” online course has been a dream of mine for years! Still over the top that it has successfully launched! This year will be my tenth anniversary of being a makeup artist. During that time, I’ve listened to so many women express their frustration and intimidation with applying their makeup. Hearing this and wanting to help them learn how to compliment their features with doable professional makeup tips, I started hosting makeup workshops. Needing to press pause on hosting my in-person beauty workshops due to the pandemic, I saw this as the perfect opportunity to host these workshops virtually! And after seeing the success with that, I knew that it was time to start building an online course tailored to women who want to learn how to master multiple makeup looks!”
@xoxoeshelle: “My goal with my in-person, virtual, and now online course is to show every woman that there is the confidence that lies within her that goes far beyond the makeup. My goal is for her to see the incredible features she has, embrace them and celebrate them! I also created these resources/learning spaces to show women who feel stuck with their makeup application to create quick and beautiful looks that compliment them!”
What is the number one question you’re asked as a makeup artist?
@xoxoeshelle: “Oh, I love this question! I always get questions about symmetry — how to create even eyebrows, eyeliner, contour, etc.”
You always exude a relaxing and empowered aura. What tips do you have to create inner beauty?
@xoxoeshelle: “What a compliment! Thank you!!”
"My biggest tip to embracing that inner beauty is pretty practical. Being a mommy of an adventurous toddler and a newborn, practical and realistic goals are how I conquer my days! So when it comes to taking care of the deepest parts of who we are as women, why not make that practical as well?? I always encourage my clients and students to create ‘Quick Wins’ for themselves every day — it can be as simple as picking a bold lipstick to wear that day that makes you feel super sexy or you can go deeper like finding a verse, quote, or create your own mantra that builds you up, set a 3-5 min timer and daily speak that over yourself!
Whatever ‘Quick Win’s’ you come up with, my encouragement is to ALWAYS SPEAK LIFE-GIVING WORDS OVER YOURSELF & CELEBRATE THOSE WINS!”

“Monat: Eye Smooth Eye Cream - It’s a great clean corrective/preventative skincare product that I’ve personally seen work so well.”
“Kat Von D: Contour Palette - I love this palette because of the quality and colors! In my opinion, a good contour palette has to have good quality matted powders, and her palettes have never failed me!”
“More of a beauty tool but, tweezers! A solid pair of tweezers is a must in my makeup kit, both professional & personal kit, because you can do so much with them!”

@xoxoeshelle: “A dewy no-makeup look & stained lips!”
Do you have a go-to beauty look?
@xoxoeshelle: “Totally! A soft elevated natural look that is great for daytime but can easily be turned into a more dramatic evening look!”

“Be Teachable
Be Driven to help meet a need
Be Bold
Believe that the place you’re at in reaching a business goal is overflowing with life lessons, so don’t get too caught up and miss a teaching moment that can potentially build your character!”

@xoxoeshelle: “If there is an entrepreneurial dream you have that just won’t go away, that means YOU were designed to share that with your world, so don’t give up on it!”
