Are You Team Dressed Up Or Dressed Down?

The chicest thing you can do for yourself is to live an unapologetically authentic life. Whether it’s a minor or major choice; dressing the part often comes with the territory. It’s a colossal reason why personal style is much more effective than following the “trends.” There isn’t ever anything wrong with trying on a popular style, but how you choose to wear something is much more interesting and unique! With saying that, I have felt much more expressive and genuine when dressed up lately. Heels, baubles, hair up (which is something pretty new for me), the more layers — the better! I feel way more poised and ready to take on the world. Even with the COVID-19 advisories, I have still been getting dressed and wearing a touch of makeup whilst at home tackling my personal and professional “TO DO” lists…

Here’s a photo from a couple of weeks ago where I felt the most authentic I have in a long time. Don’t get me wrong, I love a great pair of denim and a t-shirt, but this rekindled my love affair with dressing. This is how I normally dressed when I was behind the chair full time.
