GIVEAWAY BENEFITTING OPERATION HOPE AND ABIGAIL

If you’ve visited my Instagram / Instagram stories lately you will noticed a brand new raffle style giveaway hosted by me and Malena Ruth Design benefitting Operation Hope and Abigail.

Hope is 10 years old and Abigail is 5 years old. Both suffer from retinoblastoma, a type of cancer that forms in the retina, the very back part of the eye. It is the most common eye cancer in children and yet it is not easy to detect as initial symptoms are minimal. The most common form of detection is through a flash photograph where the eyes may appear to be looking in different directions. When left unattended it grows rapidly and is a gut punch to behold. 

Both girls are experiencing their eyes pushing away from their sockets with the possibility of cancer spreading to parts of their brain. The race is now in full swing to get them from the Democratic Republic of Congo to Uganda where they can receive adequate treatment.
