I have been living in Southern California for about 6 years now. When I think about first moving out to the west coast, it still blows me away because I never would have thought that I would be out here at this point in my life. I used to see shows air on MTV like Laguna Beach and it’s crazy to me how I could drive right through where the show was filmed now. As much as I love the constant sunshine, the smell of the ocean, palm trees, and everything California has to offer, there are still things that I will constantly miss from home. I can’t complain about being in 80-degree Fahrenheit weather (approximately 26 degrees Celsius) every day of the week, but I really miss seeing the changing of seasons. That would probably be the thing I miss the most, other than my family and friends. When I do get to visit home, I enjoy visiting some of my favorite local spots anytime I can because it reconnects me to where I came from and each spot holds great memories.
