If you caught my Babes & Beyond Bus Adventure over on my Youtube channel, you may remember a beautiful lady styling my hair in the opening scene… Meet Alysha Walker, y’all! I first met Alysha at said Babes & Beyond event, and I was so impressed with her level of expertise that I decided to schedule a haircut appointment soon after we met.

As a fellow hairstylist, who regularly maintains her own hair at home (partially in fear of a hair accident, partially due to hair snobbery) it takes a true professional to get me to back away from the shears. With that being said, I strongly believe in the magic of a trusted beautician. In fact, it’s why I posted that list of brow wizards in the Southern California area. Finding someone that you can trust, who understands what your individual style is, and is able to translate it (with your hair of all things) is someone to cherish. Especially when they are always able to offer something new at every service, some sort of change that maybe, you didn’t even know you needed! I personally know what it’s like to be behind the chair (more on that in another post), and I understand how exceptional a person needs to be in order to execute that in real time, and for many people. Alysha is an absolute joy to be around, and I have treasured each appointment we have had thus far.
